The base of education is Philosophy that is why there is MPhil and PhD. And if the goal of philosophy is to prepare man for death, does that not mean that the ultimate goal of education is to prepare man for death(whether that be by slavery or self transcendence)?

Your #1 goal when coming into this world is : Understanding yourself. Unfortunately, the system does not care about this. They care about production.
