Why society seems to have a medicine/health fetish

Parents want their children to be here.

Many leaders have had experience in this feel.

Many hurt themselves if they are unable to get into schools in this field.

Why is medicine/health so widely fetishized and desired?

Is it just the money?

Is it just the status?

OR

Is it something that has to do with the wisdom of life it can give to the practitioner?

-Health is the cornerstone of life

-Not everyone can get into elaborate health training. WHY?

-Is health education the approach to self-transcendence? WHAT ARE THE LIMITATIONS?
